Hi!
I need to understand which user logged their work on the task in jira.
What I do now: I export the filtered issues, open them im Excel and see this field with a logged time in a format ";21/aug/24 12:35 PM;6c383305-e417-4704-8040-4b89c7259ba4;3600"
What I need: instead of underlined numbers I need to see the user name in this field, how can I do that?
Thanks.

I understand when you export a csv file the log work field doesn't show the user email but shows their id.
Presently we dont have the feature to show the user email id in log work in csv export
We do have the following feature request with our developers to have the ability to extract full worklog information from CSV:
Please feel free to add yourself as a watcher as also vote and comment on this request in order to be notified as soon as this is updated.
You can user : https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-users/#api-rest-api-3-user-get to fetch the user details through account id
Thank you,
Prachi
Thank you, Prachi!
But in my case I don't need user email, I need their username , is it the same in terms of Jira settings?
Best regards

You need to do some excel work on it unfortunately. You'll need to export you user list via the admin site and then work from there.

Hi @Юлія Олексюк ,
If you are open to use third party application, I recommend WorklogPRO.
WorklogPRO features hierarchical grouping, which enhances how you view and analyze work logs. This allows you to categorize and review hours logged by users at different levels, including by user, project, issue, or issue type. When you group users, you can also track their progress against the required hours specified in the work hour schema for the user.
You can easily export your created timesheet to Excel and view work logs related to usernames in Excel. There are also export features in PDF and CSV formats. To do this, simply click on the relevant export action from the navigation toolbar after creating the desired timesheet.
Disclaimer: I work for the vendor who developed this application.

HI @Юлія Олексюк ,

I would suggest you use a Marketplace App. Clockwork Free or PRO can provide you with a view of the Worklogs and authors on the issue view.
Once you install the app, it syncs with the time you have already tracked in your Jira instance and you can view this immediately.
The view of the Worklogs and authors are as shown:
Also, you can get a comprehensive report of the time tracked by all users using the Timesheet, in the App, you do not have to export, as shown:
I'd be happy to give you a tour of the App; if you'd like this, please reach out here.
