How to change the link type to "blocks"

Hi there,

When I create an issue,  the users can select any Linked Issues Types. I want to automate changing these to LinkType "Blocks" without deleting the linked issue.

Is there a way to do it in Jira automation?

Hi @sharos_pillai ,

• Create an Automation Rule: Go to your Jira project and navigate to Project Settings > Automation.
• Set a Trigger: Choose a trigger such as "Issue Updated" to initiate the rule when an issue is updated.
• Add a Condition: If needed, add conditions to specify which issues should have their link type changed.
• Add an Action: Use the "Edit Issue" action to change the link type.
