Is there a way to include additional fields in an JQL query so that the additional fields will be included in the extract file (CSV/Excel)?

Create a filter with the JQL search, and to the right, you will see a Columns drop-down. Select the filter tab and choose the fields you want displayed. Save the filter. Now, when you export the filter to CSV (current fields) you should see the fields you selected.

The option isn't displayed in the "detail view" (my default); however, the column button appears as soon as I switch to "list view".

Thanks for the response.

Glad I could help.

Good to note about the default search view.
