I need a 1 automation trigger for all sprints completion, but "Sprint completed" trigger seems to ignore sprints that are visible on multiple boards. Is that any workaround except creating trigger for each board?
Action details:
Sprint completed
Sprint does not belong to the required board.
iOS 18.02-03.03
This is not yet possible, and there are a couple of items in the Code Barrel (now Atlassian) backlog to add the feature:

Hopefully their backlog issues get some traction soon!

I am experiencing this issue as well. Can this trigger be used for anything then? What I do not fully understand yet is how the "sprint does not belong to the required board" when that is the board that we open and close sprints from.
The new code barrel issue is

Looks like this issue has been open for a while and hard to understand where they are with it.

Going to try to work around this by doing this:
I might not actually need the Create Variable step, but I've had a heck of a time figuring out variable scopes in other automations I've written, so I do custom variable creation at the top of all my rules now as a habit.

Thanks for the info. As a reminder, Create Variable only works for Cloud at this time, not Server, and this question was for Jira Server. And as you noted...the branch's JQL could still work without the created variable by using the trigger's smart value for the sprint.
Best regards,
Bill

"Sprint does not belong to the required board"
I get the same error when trying to auto-create interruption tickets at the start of a sprint.
I have it set to create the initial ticket then 4 subs, one for each of the possible teams interrupting. I get 4 of these errors in the audit log (assuming from the subs), but each log shows a different board that are totally not even connected to our team/sprint.
I have the board, team and sprint set to the correct team.
