How to move bulk users to a new group in jira

As a Jira admin, I have got a request stating the client wants all the bulk users of one project to be moved to a new group. However to move all the users manually is impossible , Is there any way to solve it.

There are really only two options:

1. You can use the Atlassian APIs and write a bulk script yourself.

2. You can use a Marketplace App that allows you to bulk move users. There are plenty out there and most of them have 30 day trial periods, so plenty of time for you to use it and remove the app if you don't have any other use for it.

I'd recommend using the Admin Automations app, because we build it 😄 and it's been scale tested to over 20,000 users.
