Importing issues in CSV - JIRA CLOUD

Hello !

Can you please confirm me that, if I import issues with a csv file on JIRA CLOUD :

> previous projects and issues won't be deleted

> the imported issues' project has to be set before I import ?

Hi @Helene Saverot ,

As mentioned in the importing data from CSV documentation page, when importing from CSV you are actually importing issues only into one of more existing projects.

Therefore, the answer to both questions is yes:

• Previous project and issue will indeed not be deleted. You will only add more issues to one or more existing projects
• You can only import issues in one (or more) already existing project(s). Therefore yes, the project has to be created before importing the issues from CSV.
