If you don't have "create" in the bar, it usually means you do not have the permission to create any issues in any project.  Have a chat with your admins.

It's the same answer - if you are missing the create button, then you do not have "create issue" permissions.

It's not just the create button but the whole bar, if you see the photo from the Bivium Studio logo to the red and yellow icon at the end (this bar is from a partner) I do not have anything at all Thank you

hmmm. Do you have a valid license as well?

are you using any custom themes?disable them and check again.

enabel safe mode and check if the problem persists.

 

  • As a user with administrator privileges, open the 'Manage Add-ons' or 'Find New Add-ons' page from the application's administration console. 
  • Click the Enable safe mode link at the bottom of the page.
    The 'Do you wish to continue?' dialog box appears.
  • Click the Continue button to confirm the operation.
    All user-installed add-ons are disabled and your application now runs in safe mode, as indicated by the message on the page

Ok, if the whole bar is missing, there are two possibilities

A very heavily customised Server Jira where the customisation has either moved it elsewhere, or become broken.  Without knowing what the customisation is, we can't help you.  We'd need your Administrators to explain what they have done

You are on Cloud Jira, where the functions in the top bar have all now been moved to the left-hand panels.

The second one is far more likely, and it's easy to check - is the url http://<something>.atlassian.net ?

An expired Jira licence will still have the bar at the top, just not with much in it.

If that bar is missing, you will need to talk to your admins.

Although, could you give us a screenshot?  I've got one last thing it might be, but it's hard to explain and not worth it without being sure.

I still need to see the screen shot, ideally from where you land on the dashboard - from the top of the browser down to the name of the dashboard.

I already have the solution. It is an addon (I still do not know), I have put it in safe mode and if I have the bar, I remove the safe mode and I fail again.

You'll need to report this to the vendor of the add-on, so I can't tell you unless you can identify the add-on.

Could you list all the user-installed add-ons - we could help you rule some out or identify one that might be the cause.

Well I still do not know which addon is the one that gives me an error, I have many and recently I have made an integration so I do not have it solved at all

it's simple trial and error from here on.

  • Disable all user-installed addons.
  • Enable them one by one
  • wait for the nav bar to break
  • Viola! you have a winner.
  • Disable the plugin!
