This is cloud version of Jira Service Desk.

Default Issue type schema is having the following types of issue:

  • Epic
  • IT Help
  • Service Request
  • Service Request with Approvals
  • Task
  • Sub-task

The "Incident" issue is not listed under issue type settings as well. PFA for issue type list.

But Incident is not being listed. How can enable it. As i checked for server based version of jira service desk, incident issue type was present by default.

Please provide process to enable or add the incident issue type in default issue schema or Issue types.

Hi, @shubham !

You can do it like @Morgan Folsom told, also I think it will be interesting for you to read the article about Incident management from Atlassian documentation.

You'll need to create Incident as a new Issue Type.

In your second screenshot, in the top right click 'Add Issue Type', and create Incident.

Then you'll navigate to your issue type schemes, select the one you'd like to add it to, click Edit, and add Incident there as well.
