Issues with Jenkins connectivity to Jira

Followed the below link and installed the required plugins of Jenkins in Jira (and vice-versa) https://docs.marvelution.org/display/JJI/Jenkins+Integration+for+JIRA

The Jenkins jobs are not getting updated in Jira and getting the error message "Jenkins seems to be offline" when I refresh the Job list.

The Jenkins configuration page in Jira where Jenkins URL is configured takes me to the Jenkins page when I click on it.

In Jenkins -> Configuration page, configured the Jira URL, when I click on validate settings, it says "Failed to login to Jira", but in Manage Plugins -> Advanced,  when I test the Jira URL in the HTTP_Proxy configuration, it shows a success when I mention the Jira IP in "No Proxy Host" section.

Can you please help to determine where the issue could be.
