Dear support-team,
i´m checking out JIRA v. 7.12.0 with Confluence v. 6.11.0 in our test-environment.
The JIRA health check report always an application link error.
The only application-link that we have is the connection to confluence and this is working fine.
Application-link from Confluence to JIRA
Application-link from Confluence to JIRA
A new created link from an jira-issue to a confluence-page is working fine. Already exists links are also working fine.
I think the problem that u can found here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-65610 is similar. But I like to report the problem again, because the status of the link obove is already "resolved".
Kind Regards
KNL
Hi Keri,
thx for your advice to check out the latest version of the Atlassian Troubleshooting and Support-Tool add-on.
The health check reports no error anymore after we did the update to the latest version.
Kind Reagards

Hi Keri,
i need to revise myself. The health check reports the application link error now again.
We didnt make any changes since yesterday.
I activated the debug-logging for the package com.atlassian.applinks, like you suggested. I found in the log-file the error-message related to the bug which is refered by u:
https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/APL-1364
Kind Regards

Hi Knut,
Sorry to hear that - I've linked your case to the issue - please add yourself as a watcher to receive any updates around a fix.
I understand it's irritating, but it's safe to ignore the messages for now.
Cheers,
Keri

Hi Knut,
Can you check that you have the latest version of the Atlassian Troubleshooting and Support Tools add-on installed?
In addition, there's another bug open here which may be related: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/APL-1364 to find out if this is the case for you, further debug logging needs to be enabled.
When this is enabled, the logging will appear in the atlassian-jira.log under the <Jira Home>/log directory and you can see if you receive the same error message.
Cheers,
Keri
