JIRA v6.2 - Issue Hierarchy?

Vaishali Ghai January 26, 2017

Hi,

I want to be able to create a issue hierarchy as EPic-> Feature -> Story. I have version 6.2. Is it doable?

Hi,

No it's not. The only hierarchy possible is task -> subtask. But there is a way to bypass this: using issue links. You can use default link type "relates to" or create a new one, and then links Epic/Feature/Story together.

Example: Story#1 relates to Feature #1 relates to Epic #1

Cheers,

Fred
