×At my previous work, Tempo was used for logging time, reporting, time planning, ... . It was a large company that could bear the cost.
Currently I work in a company of ± 100 people. We currently use Jira and Confluence (cloud version), but aren't logging time yet. That's why I would have liked to try Tempo with a small team (4 people) for logging time.
The problem is that The tempo pricing is set per user in jira. Which means that you have to pay for 100 users, even if only four people use it. So this is very expensive.
Are there alternatives that are qualitative and affordable? I really like the overview of days in Tempo where you can log time.
Hi @nielvrom
There's going to be plenty of alternatives - I would look through the Marketplace, and search for relevant keywords such as...
...then you can view the options and their features, review their pricing, test potential candidates using the free trials, and decide which one works best for your team!

Hi,
As an alternative , take a look at
Worklogs Time Tracking & Timesheets
You can easily view time entries for multiple issues day wise grouped by in a single view. The app allows to filter/Categorize/Group your worklogs data and a timesheet view too to track individual time spent. And what's more it can be added as a dashboard gadget.

Hi @nielvrom
You might want to check out our Clockwork Free. It provides automatic time tracking capabilities, very useful reporting using timesheets with filters and breakdown options, and it's currently 100% free for all companies, with limited features (when compared to Clockwork Pro) and a monthly limit of 300 timers.
Right now every app in the Atlassian Marketplace that is paid via Atlassian billing system is charged for all unique users. Perhaps it will change in the future, but for now there's no way around it, except for external solutions like Toggl, which would still need an app to sync with Jira.
I hope this helps,
Cheers!

Hi there,
As others already mentioned, there are plenty of alternatives for Tempo Timesheets providing the same and different features. One important thing to note is that after some time it is not easy to migrate from Tempo due to their own "Tempo Worklog", as Deniz already mentioned this.
"I really like the overview of days in Tempo where you can log time." - You can also check out our Timetracker app's unique timeline and calendar view, if you are looking for convenient daily manual work logging options.

Hi @nielvrom ,
On behalf of the SolDevelo development team I would like to suggest to you our affordable, high-quality alternative for time tracking called "Worklogs - Time Tracking and Time Reports".
Our app allows you to track the time spent by the members of your team on a variety of tasks. It allows grouping data by days, weeks, months or years with the use of an easy to read and accessible report interface:
Each Jira user in your company can easily log their work time spent on any kind of projects, issues, bugs, sub-tasks etc. from the issue view or straight from the Worklogs report page:
It's also worth adding that our app uses Jira's native time tracking implementation, thanks to which your logged time will be always available and compatible with the rest of your instance.
You can try out the app for free for 30 days through our marketplace page.
You can also book a demo with one of our experts and we will showcase the app and answer any questions you might have, or you can contact us through the portal here.
Glad to help!

Hi,
Tempo uses its own backend to store worklog author, description and worklog attributes. Your worklogs registered using Tempo will be displayed with dummy information within the Jira and other timesheet apps. For example, worklog author will always be "Tempo timesheet" and work description will be "work description". You can check here for more information.
We are building support for migrating from Tempo timesheet to WorklogPRO and we try to handle this case. We will be publishing a Python script which can migrate this information. So, you should also invest some time to fix your old worklogs if this is an issue for you.

In terms of Pricing is 150$ for 100 users, compare to Tempos 412$ per 100 users
