Hi,

we moved Jira from a Local installation to a On Demand Service.

the Users where Named: first.last

Now the Users Sign in with Google but they dont have Access to the Old Projects because Jira thinks its a New User.

How can i Merge a Existing User Account with a Google User?

Hi there,

There's currently no way to merge those accounts, but an improvement request is being track at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-31741. You may want to vote for it.

Other than that, when you integrate OnDemand with Google apps, the user bases will be automatically merged, provided that the usernames are identical. Have a look at the documentation, perhaps re-integrating your subscription with Google Apps (this time with paired usernames) can be the best solution for this case.

Hope it helps.

Is there still currently no way to merge existing JIRA accounts with Google accounts?
