Hi,
We would like to create test environment in the cloud before migrating data (projects, issues...)
So we need to migrate Jira metadata, most important, the custom fields.
Is it possible to do that and how?
I solved the issue by writing in a Groovy script export the Jira DC customfields data to Json (from the Scriptrunner's Script Console) and then Python script read the Json and create the customfields in the cloud.
Hi @Oded Mozesh
Are you already on Cloud?
Then use the sandbox option in Atlassian Administration.
See documentation here, manage-atlassian-product-sandboxes
If you are not in Cloud already create a free tier option, and you cold use Salto configuration manager (marketplace app)

Hi,
Thanks
We are in the beginning of the migration process.
We haven't got the confirmation of the security team to migrate data, so want to prepare synthetic data but with real customfields as defined in the DC, so want to migrate only them.
