Order of Epics in Board View Does Not Match Roadmap for Next-Gen Kanban

I can manually re-order my Epics in the Roadmap view, but those changes in order are not reflected on the Board view....it seems like any change in order made in one view should be reflected in all views.

I'm aware of the ability to filter Epics using the dropdown atop the Board view, that's not what I'm trying to accomplish. I simply want the order in which I place the Epics on the Roadmap to be reflected on the Board view as well.
