Hi, we are a small group that are testing the platform to try to use is a sort of project management, gantt and task timeline.
we were wondering if it is possible to create an automation or a template that, when creating a new project, already has all the needed tasks pre-submitted (not the time, but just the task itself) in order to speed up the compiling process and avoid to forget anything
thank you
An automation rule can help, but that would create the same tickets on all new projects. In case you only want them on specific project categories, you might look into third party apps. As small team, our app Project Templates for Jira is free for you and allows to do just that.
Create a custom project template (clone an existing one for example) and specify a set of predefined issues that should be created every time someone creates a new project based on the custom project template. There more to preconfigure, just check it out.
Hi @Dennis Preziosi and welcome to the community!
I'm Luka from codefortynine.
If you are willing to try a third-party app, our Deep Clone for Jira could help you to create new projects out of your templates. Deep Clone can duplicate whole projects, including their schemes and issues with Project Clone. You can read more on that use case here.

Hello, Good day. At the moment this option is not available and we have feature request : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-7020. After a project is created you can create automation rule to create issues for you. Thanks
