2,000 User Tier Plugin and 10,000 tier Jira Instance

Hello,

Recently we upgraded Jira from 2,000 to 10,000 users. We also upgraded a couple of plugins to keep up with our increased amount of users, however it seems one plugin slipped under our radar. Will this plugin no longer work at all now that I've input the license for the 10,000 jira user tier? Should I switch it back to the 2,000 user tier, but update the keys of the already bought licenses to the 10,000 user tier license keys?

Regards,
Shirley

Hi Shirley,

Any add-ons must be licensed at the same tier as the highest Jira (Jira Software, Jira Core or Jira Service Desk) product or higher in order to function.

Provided you have not exceeded 2000 users yet, you could temporarily restore your old key to Jira until the upgrade for the plugin comes through. But if you haven't saved that somewhere outside of my.atlassian.com, you're probably out of luck there.

Another suggestion would be to temporarily use a trial license for the single plugin until you pay to upgrade it to 10000 users.

I guess I'm in luck then, because I did save it on a whim :). I've done what you said and restored it for now. Thanks for the help!
