After creating users on my jira as an admin, user dont get the activation mail.

user cant find activation mails sent by the system.

Hi, Atai.

Before we dig deeper into this matter, I would like to clarify on the following:

  • Can you confirm first if you are on JIRA Server or JIRA Cloud?
  • If you are on server, do you see anything on the log after you create a user on your JIRA instance to see the if the issue comes from JIRA itself?
  • Additionally, do you have an outgoing email server configured already for the instance?
  • Did you have the Send notification email checked when the user was created from the web interface?

the send notification email was checked and am on the cloud service not server.
