Currently I cannot configure how to archive the done cards in nextgen Kanban board. This is leading to a lot of cards in Done

Hi @Shaurya Gupta - There is currently no way to archive done cards on a next-gen Kanban project. Cards will automatically be cleared from the board when they remain in your Done column for 14 days.

Hi @Kevin Bui

is there a documentation page with more info on this?

Otherwise, is it possible to still see the cleared ones in case of need? How?

Hello @Shaurya Gupta ,

If you are using the next generation project, it is based on sprint, create your own sprint cycle (usually 2-4 weeks for a sprint).

You can archive issue by completing the sprint.

He specifically said he has a Kanban board, which currently does NOT support this basic feature. This has been requested (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Next-gen-questions/How-to-clear-old-items-out-of-the-quot-Done-quot-column/qaq-p/852627?utm_source=atlcomm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=immediate_general_answer&utm_content=topic) and is still being waited on for over a year. Honestly, seems like Atlassian is drinking their Trello kool-aid and abandoning their core products.

Personally if they don't get themselves together in the next couple of months I'm going to switch my entire team off to another product. Enough is enough!
