Board containing tickets from multiple team-managed software projects

Jeroen Rijks January 29, 2024

I'm trying to create a board that has tickets from multiple projects in it. In the drop-down menu that lets me select which project tickets should be shown in the board, no 'Team-managed software' projects are shown. 'Team-managed business' and 'Company-managed software' boards are shown though.

If I use a saved filter, I still need to select which project the board will be in, and this again doesn't show 'Team-managed software' projects.

How can I create a board containing tickets from multiple team-managed software projects?

Thanks for the help

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can do this - your assumption about the saved filter selecting a single project is wrong.

You need to create a board in a Company-managed project, against a saved filter that includes all your projects.

Switch the filter into "advanced" and use a JQL clause like:

Project in (ABC, DEF, GHI)

Obviously replace my ABC, DEF and GHI with the three projects you want to see.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-  just want to clarify - on a Team-Managed project board, you're saying you can't configure a filter that will allow you to pull in tickets from multiple projects. This is only something that can be done with a company-managed proj board. Correct?
