Hi guys,
i have a question a Project Manager in the workplace has asked me about JIRA.
We want to give access to a client but we only want them to view issues in an active sprint only and nothing in other sprints or in the backlog. I'm not sure if this is possible however if there is an alternative solution please could you suggest something that can steer me in right direction.
Thanks,
Hi @Ravi Mistry,
You can try to create a separate agile board for these special users and set filter restrictions.
for example:
project = aaa and Sprint in openSprints()
Ah so I can create a board and make them have access to that board only? Would do that be done in project settings or global settings when i create a permission scheme.

Yes,you can use the filter's Shares to restrict whether users can see the contents of this board.

Hi Ollie,
Quick question - so the query i have done is same as your screenshot however it has removed all backlog issues which is correct - IF we have another sprint the user will be able to see the other sprint even though it hasn't started. Is there a way i can say show active sprints only despite having Sprint 2 defined but not started?
Thanks,
Ravi
