Can i count the number of times a field get change?

I want to know how many times a field in my project get changed and put this number in another custom field. Can i do that?
Like, my field date get changed 2 times, then update the custom field 'x' with this number.

Yes, you can do that using automation. It would trigger on field changed and then you can use smart values to increase the custom field, like this:

{{#=}}{{issue.My Number field}} + 1{{/}}
