Ok so I downloaded OOMNITZA to my service desk however in order to sync to it I need to manage add on's. I do not have a link to manage add on's just manage apps. I can see oomnitza in order to configure but I am unable to do so. Is this a permissions thing?

you need to be an admin and go here - Jira settings > Manage apps. This is done w/in your instance not the Marketplace.

Hi Jack,

I am in Jira settings & manage apps I'm not in market place. The first screenshot was to show where i was and what was available so as you can see oomnitza is under configuration but when i go into this i get the 2nd screenshot.

I do not know where else manage apps is ( new to JIRA).

Thanks

sorry, the actual path (for me at least) is Jira settings > Apps > Manage apps. What do you see in sidebar when you go into Jira settings?

if you click Get started on the app and are having issues I would contact the author of the app. Click on the Support and issues link shown in your image. I see there is a "setup guide" link and assume you have reviewed?

Just found this doc on oomnitza which is totally different to the one it suggests - https://oomnitza.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015271593-How-to-Oomnitza-for-Jira-Server#h_de0a6e6d-22d7-4028-9a5a-48fc8550b591

That's for Jira Server, you are on Jira Cloud.  It's not relevant to your usage.

There's another link on the same page for cloud

True, there is, but what does that say about where you are stuck?

It says to log into oomnitza which I have but cant see where it is trying to lead me to. I have also followed the oomnitza docs but im not getting what they are showing as the app auto loads into jira, i dont have the integration link. I have emailed their support so will have to wait and see. Will update once i know
