Changing a file type

Dear all, 

How change o field from Select List (single choice) to Select List (multiple choices). If is it possible?

Hi @Paulina Mijal ,

As far as I know, Custom field types cannot just be migrated to another type.

You'll have to create a new custom field with the correct type and (if needed) migrate the data over.

Hi Paulina,

Dirk is correct about field migration. It may be possible to use the API or a plugin (like Scriptrunner) to copy custom field values between the old and new fields. Cheers!
