I extensively wrote the options for 2 custom checkbox fields.
One of them saved, the other did not.
I would like to resolve this, but I cannot find how to edit the checkbox options. When I go to the Custom Fields list and click on the new Checkbox field, the ability to edit the checkbox options is not there, nor is it when I click on Edit Details. Feels like a bug, which would be inconvenient given Checklist is my middle name.
Also, I cannot figure out how to only show these custom fields on specific custom issue types.
I can only have them show on any/all issues types of a certain project, but they are designed for only a specific issue type, that is shared between several projects.
I bet @Sebastian Krzewiński's help put you on the right track, but since you said Checklist is your middle name you might want to consider using a third-party checklist app.
Those come in may shapes and colors, but I'm practically sure all are way more versatile than the simple custom field. I would know - I work for a company that released the most successful one ;)
Cheers,
Wojciech

Everything what you described you can set by choosing "Contexts and default value". There you can define values for field and set context (where field should be visible).

Thank you. I resolved the issue only to find out that the check boxes only show a limited number of characters (while the fields allow for unlimited characters).
