We have an email account provided by our Jira cloud instance, which handles support requests which come in via email.
Is it possible to connect to this mail account from my Outlook Desktop client on windows?
The reason I would like to do this is to troubleshoot some issues with incoming support requests. I am aware that I can view the logs in the browser, but connecting to this account via outlook might provide me more flexibility/insights into the issues we are having.

are you asking if you can open the Atlassian provided email via your Outlook so that you can inspect the inbox? I don't see how that would be possible. To even attempt you would need the password. You would need to discuss the feasibility of this w/ Atlassian but I'm betting they would not allow such access.
