We have Service Desk project and regular Project Management with 2 different key's assigned. Could the JIRA issues be linked from one project into another with a hyper-link?

Thanks,

Yes - you can create issue links between different Jira projects. You will at least browse permissions and update if you want to create reciprocal links.

if the projects are in different servers, the admin will need to create a trusted link between the servers.

both projects are in the same JIRA instance.

When i'm in project ABCD and reference an issue ABCD-1234 from the same project, JIRA will automatically recognize it and creates a hyperlink to the issue.

This does not happen within the project with key EFGH when referenced ABCD-1234 issue.

is there a KB which describes how to create the link between different JIRA projects?
