Custom email post function not working

Hello:

One more for 2018 :) I'm trying the custom email for the first time and can't get it working. I have it as the last function of the post and is a simple one to test.

Can you please take a look at the screen print and let me know what I may be doing wrong?

Hi ! Wow I know another Tom Lister :) Don't think you're the same. Anyhow, the image I sent was what I setup and I put myself as recipient and I'm not getting the custom email when triggered.

Which email plugin are you using?

Is anyone getting the email send i.e. the group defined?

Does the JQL return issues?

Is the workflow step firing, workflow published?

Any errors in logs?

LOL maybe you do! :) Thanks - no, no one else is getting one.. Yes pluggin the JQL into the filters works and my test JIRA shows up. I must be missing something so obvious and can't put my finger on it....

Oh maybe that's it - I need an email plugin? lol is that it? Is that outside of the out-of-the-box solution? Other notifiications are working.

Hi 

If you are getting the set up screen then you should have that plugin.

Although something will need to trigger this. Is the setup part of a workflow post function. Or automation task?
