Hi @Hannah Eickmeier ,

Welcome to the community !!

Jira Product Discovery is more similar to Jira Service Management’s “per-agent” pricing model meaning you only pay for the number of creators who you choose to give access to on your Atlassian site. You can easily change a creator to a contributor or vice versa at any time in Jira. You will need to have an Atlassian account (free or paid) to be either a creator or a contributor.

You can find the Jira Product Discovery pricing details in https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/product-discovery/pricing

Will Jira Product Discover become a part of Jira Software or any other product?

No, Atlassian will continue to advance the integration between Jira Product Discovery and Jira Software to make it easy to go from discovery to delivery and back. But Jira Product Discovery will remain a stand-alone product.

Hi Community.

Jira Product Discovery is a standalone product and it is NOT part of Jira Software on any subscription plans.

➡️ Jira Product Discovery offers 2 subscription plans:

  • Free - available for up to 3 creators
  • Standard - for teams with more than 3 creators.

You also have the possibility to try the Standard plan for free before purchasing it.

➡️ Another thing to add here: Jira Software and Jira Product Discovery integrates with each other.

When an idea has been prioritized in Jira Product Discovery, you can connect it to delivery work planned and executed in Jira Software. You can then track the delivery progress for this work from within the idea in Jira Product Discovery.

To do this you can create an epic, Initiative or other issue type from the idea’s delivery tab. This will both create the delivery ticket and link it to the idea.

I hope this helps.

Is JIRA Software Premium required to be able to add Product Discovery?
