Custom scripted field to show linked issues by link type

I would like to create custom fields that represents inward and outward link types so we have better information than a singled 'linked issues' field with simple links.

For example:

I have 2 issues (A & B) - A 'blocks' B

I would like to have 2 fields "blocks" and "is blocked by"

• Issue A  shows field 'blocks'  populated with Issue B
• Issue B shows field 'is blocked by' populated with Issue A

May be I missed something but that's what the inward and outwards description tells you.

However you can always display this information in a scripted field or may be a panel.

Take a look at this example.

Hi @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_  - Thanks for your quick response.  The example you sent over is also helpful. My goal is to have a custom field for each inward and outward connection so that it's clear how each linked issue is linked.

Let's say I want to report on Relates to, Blocks, Is Blocked By...., I'd have 3 custom fields.

A simple issue search could return: 

Key, Summary, Priority, Status, Relates to, Blocks, Is Blocked by, Updated
