Hi all,
When I create a search, I can view the "Status Category Changed" field in the list view. But, when I go to export the data into CSV, that field will not export with the rest of the fields. Does anyone know how to get the "Status Category Changed" field to export into CSV?
Hi, @Mike Rudy !
Hm, really interesting question, i've found a BUG(JRACLOUD-74197) that marked as fixed in April 2020.
Issue Summary
When trying to export issues via CSV, "Status Category" field is not exported. This column is not shown in csv file.
Steps to Reproduce
- Use a JQL that can retrieve issues that have "Status Category" field not empty. Best to use JSD issues.
- Try to export the list of issues you found in a CSV file (Current fields or all fields)
Expected Results
CSV file contains details of "Status Category" filed for all issues
Actual Results
CSV file doesn't contain any details of "Status Category" field. No errors shown.
Workaround
Jira Cloud for sheets works fine and can retrieve details of "Status Category".
But I got the same problem... very interesting.
Is it possible to you case using sheets function (Excel/Google Sheets)(workaround)?
When can be fixed in CSV?

I'm unable to export that field to CSV but when I use the "open in Microsoft Excel" option, it does export the field for me.
