This morning I set up SSO for my Jira account. This works but now on our teams board (MSA) my initials under which are all my tickets is filtered out. I can't find where the filter is to remove it.
Hi @stuart hogg , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.
Do you mean this filter?
If I click to select myself, the Filter button lights up with a 1 to show one filter is applied
For me, you can either click again on your initials to switch off the filter, or, if you click on the Filter button with the 1, there is the option to the top left to 'Clear' filters.
Can you try that and see if it helps you?
Best wishes
Mine doesn't look that Valerie.
I have tried to post a screenshot but can't seem to /

Hi @stuart hogg , thanks for your reply.
Ok, to post a screenshot here, it is a little fiddly, you need to click on this link
and then I can normally just to Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot like this and then you have to click on Insert
Can you have another go and see if you can upload something?
Cheers

@Valerie Knapp Unfortunately not. That seems obvious and was one of the first things I tried. Too good to be true!

Hi @stuart hogg
Based on your screenshot it seems you are on an on-prem version of Jira and it seems the the quick filter might be has an incorrect search clause.
You will need to press the 3 dots option to edit the board and in the shown options of the board configuration, adjust the quick filter
If you are not the board admin, ask the board admin or Jira admin to look into this.

Thanks Marc, When you say '3 dots option to edit the board' I don't have 3 dots. Do you mean Board -Configure?

Hi @stuart hogg
Yes, use the configure option.

The quick filters seem to be OK?

Hi @stuart hogg
If you do a search in Jira with this filter, do you get results and if there are results are these from issues that should appear on this board, based on the boards main filter (not quick filter).
If there are such results, are the statuses the issues are in mapped to a cloumn on the board?

Sorry Marc I'm not entirely sure what you mean.
I need a "Jira for Dummies" guide!

Hi @stuart hogg
The quick filter is a JQL.
If you go to the Issue option in the main toolbar and choose search for issues and you use the JQL: assignee = stuart.hogg
Do you get results?
From the results are there issues that should appear on the board, based on the board filter (see menu General in the board configuration) and assigned to you.
If none of the found issues are also found in the filter used for the board, then the quick filter is correct by showing no results.
If from the found issues, there are issues that also appear on the filter used from the board and assigned to you are not showing on applying the quick filter, check the status of the issue.
Then from the board configuration, see the columns option, are the status of the found issues mapped to a column?

Hi @stuart hogg
The filter is correct, but there are no results.
What. is you remove the text stuart.hogg and start typing stuart and have autocomplete provide values and choose your one, do you get results then?
If there are no results, you are sure the jql is correct, but then the quick filter works, because there are no issues where you are set as the assignee

If I delete stuart.hogg and start typing my name the only option that comes up is stuart.hogg@bt.com ( work for BT funnily enough). This shows results.
However, if I go to the Board Configuration quick filter I am listed as stuart.hogg. All my colleagues are the same though and they work fine, I worked fine until yesterday when I activated single sign on.

Hi @stuart hogg
Aha, SSO makes use of the email address not the username anymore.
So you will have to adjust the jql in the quick filter.
Filters will not be updated based on theses changes based on SSO.
