Full transition name is not visible

Some of the Transition names we use in JIRA are longer than 10 chars. In some instances, Full transition name is NOT visible when we hover over the button. This issue happening in IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Any idea on how can we enable this functionality always.

I would like to confirm if you are potentially running on an affected version that is listed in the following bug report:

• JRASERVER-39809: workflow transition's name truncated when exist more than 25 characters

Else, please confirm on the version of JIRA that you are running so we can update the Affects Version/s field accordingly once it is tested on my end. Thank you.

I reproduced in JIRA 7.12.1 and verified that I am seeing similar behavior as the bug report. 

However, I would like to take a step back to understand your statement here:

Full transition name is NOT visible when we hover over the button

What I understand here is that despite the fact that you hovered over the button, you are unable to see the complete transition name, unlike what I am seeing on my end. May I know if it is possible for you to provide me with the screen shot(s) from your side to ensure that I am able to reproduce properly together with the transition name as well?

Hi , Srilatha & I are working with the jira version of 7.11.2

The transitiion name is available on hoover when user is assigned the ticket the first time(through transition post function). When user is refreshing the page or logs in freshly after a first view the tooltip is not visible on hover.

I was able to reproduce the issue on JIRA 7.11.2 & JIRA 7.12.1 where the tooltip is not visible when mouse is hovered on it as you mentioned after the refresh:

@AhmadDanial How does ticket resolution work? Will it be fixed in the same version 7.11.2 or come back as fix in later versions? Our users rely on the tooltip for action names that are longer than 20 chars.
