Problem/behavior:
as user with access to 2 jora core projects and one jira SD projects and a few filters configured etc. I can view a board from the Boards menu just fine, but only when I pick a single board. When I select 'View all boards' I get an internal server error as shown below
Error in console.log: GET https://hamburg.amagoo.net/jira/rest/greenhopper/1.0/rapidviews/viewsData?_=1539934401137 500
expected behavior:
get an overview list of all boards I have access to
Hi Timo,
You'll want to look in your Jira log files to see what the error detail is. If possible please share it here if there is any error in the logs when clicking the view all boards.
Amirul
Sorry Amiru, I am still new to this. Could you please provide me with some more details about what log file to look at and whether I need to turn on debugging etc. A quick step-by-step procedure would help a lot. Thanks much. Timo.

What error response that you get when accessing the page? Is it null pointer error? The log files that you want to look at would be Atlassian-jira.log.

Hi Amirul,
we have resolved the problem. Yes it was a null pointer error and the problem was that I had a group assigned as board administrator for at least one of the boards and that particular group was deleted at some point.
