Sorry for the odd question, but we apparently need this information. Has anyone ever heard of atlassian allowing a more flexable amount of user tiers for it's Cloud Jira than the very strict options it does currently?
Right now we're at 50. We need more but the next tier is 100 which is prohibitively expensive. Has anyone had any luck negotiating for like, 55? Or even 75? Any luck at all?
Thanks.
Hi Daniel,
Unfortunately they go with what they have on their website. They don't make any exceptions.
Is it possible to switch to monthly payments from Annual? Looks like those are by user but none of their documents mention switching that way, only monthly -> annual.

I really doubt that you can switch to monthly, however click here then ask Atlassian billing department
Best of luck

The licensing tiers just plain suck. We have 100 users and need just 25 more licenses but since they have such crap tiers that means we need to buy 125 more licenses than we even have employees. We were considering buying a bunch of add-ons too, so then we get to pay for another 125 add-ons too. Which means we have to spend several thousand dollars more and we will NEVER use the accounts. We are a County trying to get started on this product but frankly, this poor licensing system is making us reconsider given we pretty much have to pay for double the licenses just to use it. What a silly way to license this.... it needs an update.
