Hi all,
we use the official Jira Slack app. We want our CX team to create bug tickets directly from Slack using this integration.
What I'm puzzled by is where the fields displayed in the issue creation screen in Slack are coming from? They don't match the fields that I have configured for the bug creation screen in Jira. In Slack, some fields how up which are not part of the configuration. And also the order of fields is all over the place.
Where do these fields come from on Jira and how do I properly configure them?
Hi Stefanie,
I think it all depends on request type and field configuration for it.
You can configure your request type in Project Settings > Request types > (your request type)
Thanks Jakub. I can confirm that what I see in the Slack modal is different form the field configuration that is defined for the project in question. My issue is exactly this: I would like the predefined field configuration to be used, but it is not!
Let me also add that we use company managed (not team managed) projects. Just in case it makes a difference.

Can you share screens of what fields you see in slack and what your field configuration of request type that you've connected to slack?
