How can I use link relates when using the Tableau Connector for Jira?

Alyssa Priddy

I am trying to use the tableau connector for Jira cloud and I need to bring a set of tasks and all of their related linked issues but I can’t seem to get the data to populate in tableau the way I need it to so the current work around is to export from jira to excel, transpose the columns for the related links and then import that data back into tabluea. Is there a better way?

I'm still running into this issue today. Was a solution found?

Hello Heather @Heather Jewell  and Alyssa @Alyssa Priddy ,

To get all the linked issues please use the Issue Links table. It holds all the information about the linked issues along with the link types (relates, duplicates, causes, etc.).

If you still need our help on this, please create a support request, and we'll be happy to help.

Luba

Thanks. I think we both know the table exists but there isn't a good way to conform the data for use within Tableau reporting.
