I updated the workflow for a board, but the previous statuses (columns) are still visible on the board. There are no "Issues" under the statuses (columns). The workflow has been updated for over 1 hour and there has been no corresponding update to the columns.
Hi @Jeremy Deremer and welcome to the community. The columns will not automatically remove themselves. You'll need to go into the Board Settings >> columns and delete from there.
Hi @Mark Segall, thanks for the welcome. Where can I navigate to "Board Settings"? I saw the same directions in a video from 2019, but it looks like the interface has changed significantly since then, and the video did not show where to navigate to Board settings.
Under "Project Settings" I only have Details, Access, Issues types, Automation, and Notifications.
When I have the Board view open, the only options I have are to Add people, Search board, Filter, or the ellipsis "... More". Under the ellipsis, the only options is to customize cards.
I created the project and I am the admin.

This should be under the ellipses while looking at your board. If it's a Company-Managed project, you'll see Board Settings. If it's a Team-Managed project, you'll see Configure board. Here are a couple of examples:

That helps clarify a little - my board looks totally different. I'm using the Jira Work Management, so I don't have either of the navigation options you mentioned.

Ahh now I understand - I confirmed the same issue. I looked around and it appears others have experienced this issue as well. Appears to be a bug.

Darn. Thanks for your time! I submitted a feedback form to JIRA.

This appears to be the defect you are noting, and you may vote for/watch it to see progress: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JWMCLOUD-166
Kind regards,
Bill
