Hi,
There is no much documentation, and the only instruction I got brought me to dead end. I go to project settings (agile project) and I can't find on the left menu, something name "features" as the documentation suggests.
How do I know if this new feature is supposed to be available for me, is it redistricted only to a very specific type of projects?
Please help.
Thanks,
Michael
Hello,
It means that you have a classic project. The Roadmap feature is not available for classic projects. You should create a next-gen project and enable this feature.

The main doc on roadmaps at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/roadmap-957979308.html does no emphasise this well. It does say "Roadmaps are only available in next-gen Jira Software projects, and aren't available in classic projects." in the introduction, but it's not highlighted.

That's really upsetting that these features aren't for any current projects. These projects would take too long to manually switch over.

Do you have portfolio for jira in your instance?
Roadmap planning is available when you have portfolio installed.
