How do i display the "query string" or JSON received from the incoming webhook into custom email

Hi All,

I am new to using incoming webhooks in Jira cloud Automation.

I have an incoming webhook configured to receive it from some source application, so along with issuekey some information like "errorMessage" is sent in JSON body. I would like to capture the "error massage" and display it on the email notification.

I tried below options, but no success :(

Erorr 1: {{webhookQuery.errorMessage}}
Error 2: {{webhookData.errorMessage}}
Error 3: {{webhook.Data.errorMessage}}
Error 4: {{webhook.Query.errorMessage}}
Error 5: {{webhook.query.errorMessage}}
Error 6: {{webhook.data.errorMessage}}

Is there any way to achieve this in Jira cloud automation. Please suggest.

Regards,

Vinod

I sent the JSON body instead of query string and was able to receive information using {{webhookData.errorMessage}} notation.

Vinod
