Hi Dennis,
I’m not sure what type of scripting you’re looking for to stop Jira crashing, but to start with, getting to understand why it’s crashing is the best place to start. If you can find any errors from your application logs, then the community can help with possible solutions.
Summarizing some info about your environment (server specs, xms/xmx values, number of users/projects/issues) and how frequently the crashes happen can also be very useful.
CCM
A script that would restart Jira whenever it crashes which is about twice daily. I've looked at application logs, run health checks, etc. etc. Seems to be nothing wrong.

ok, i found a bizarre outgoing SSL issue, apparently i need to add my own website certificate to the trust store, for it to access some Gadget feed url.. i don't know if that will help, atleast it isn't spamming the logs with ssl chain exceptions, i had like 1000 of them daily.

I'll monitor for a few days, If it stops crashing after this, i'll come back and mark this as the answer.
