How many users in my team

Ilia Naumov March 17, 2022

Hello, I have a problem to determine the right number of users. You see, we are going to purchase the product from the atlassian market for the only one Project in jira, in this case by "Team" we count those who interacts with the project (create tickets, etc) or just overall number of Jira users in general?

Hi @Ilia Naumov ,

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

If you are purchasing Jira application, the number of users is based on the major Jira product.

For example if you have:

  • Jira Software - 250 users
  • Jira Service Management - 50 users

you need to purchase the app for 250 users.

It is not possible to purchase the app only for a few users, you need to purchase it for everybody.
