How to add all the existing statuses to each column

Lea Pevzner August 19, 2019

Hi, I'm using a kanban board for my project and I would like to devide my columns by weeks and not by status.

Therefore, I would like to have the option to add all the statuses to each column. That way I could see all the tasks for each week and their statuses. In each column I would have different statuses: new, in progress and done. Once I change the status within the card, the card would remain in the same column.

According to your documentation it is possible in agile board, but for some reason I only have the option for Kanban or Scrum.

Please advise, thank you.

Hi @Lea Pevzner ,

As far as I know, this is not possible. The Kanban method should focus on work-in-progress. In your example , each column is actually a fixed period, such as week.

I think you can try to configure Swimlanes to do grouping, but the effect is slightly different from what you expected.

The following picture is just an example, you need to modify JQL according to your needs.

Hi @Ollie Guan ,thank you for you prompt answer!

I just want to make sure, since you wrote "as far as I know" that I need to refer to it as the final answer.

Thanks.
