How to debug an API not returning any issues

Using Jira Data Center version 8.20.1 and attempting to test an API using OAUTH2.0 authentication and not getting any results returned.  Using soapui /postman project to create issues.  (The API works in production w/ basic auth)

  1. Is there a log package that can be set to debug mode to help troubleshoot?
  2. What log files does API or failures for APIs reside in?

Any opinion on how to troubleshoot would be appreciated.

Hi @Andrea Hakim

From the documentation it seems that you have to add you app as Application Link and allow incomming.

I believe app links is for version 8.22 and up.  We haven't upgraded to this version due to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-73747
