How to expand/increase size of the Project & Issue type selection box/field in JIRA cloud.

Hi Team,

Whenever our team members would like to create a ticket in project they need to see full project name and issue type name also in those selection boxes, Due to the length of the box our users are missing last letters of issue type and there were high chances of creating a ticket in wrong project's or Issue types.

But we don't know whether we can increase the size of fields in JIRA cloud or not. Can anyone help us in this?

Hi Amanne,

No, you won't be able to increase the field size. Have you tried a larger monitor or higher resolution for your screen? 

Also, you might want to look at a scheme that puts the differentiating words at the front of the name instead of at the end.

Hi John,

That does not help, no matter the size of the monitor or resolution or zoom, the width of the field is fixed.
I raised it with premium support, and if there is a feature request for it, I will share it here.
