How to keep the divider position between backlog and preview?

Within the backlog view a preview pane will open on the right site with a about 10% visibility of the entire screen real estate. One can change this and split it to half, but whenever you click on another ticket it will open the default view again.

How can I configure Jira (cloud) to permanently keep the defined percentage?

hello @andreas_pucko

I've tried to reproduce this without luck. When I change the width of the preview side-pan it holds across multiple issue selections. Also holds when closing it and opening another issue. Can you add some detail?

- what browser are you using?

- did you leave the backlog and come back?

Thank you @Fernando Bordallo for looking into it.

I am on the backlog pane within a Kanban setup.

Browser is Chrome on Mac. All updated.

I am keeping the backlog, while grooming through it I have to adjust the pane for every issue I click.

Have a look at the screen cast:

Hello again @andreas_pucko

I've attempted to reproduce with the same configuration you shown in the video:
- classic project
- Chrome
- mac
- Epics panel open
- Quick filter selected
- resize the side-pane
- select different issues & edit the issues

Still can't see the problem reproduced 🤔

I would recommend you open a support ticket for this. There might be something odd in your instance that the backlog team would need to look into.

Sorry I can't be of more help
