How to show the "Participants of an issue" custom field in the Jira new view

The "Participants of an issue" custom field type is not displayed in the Jira new issue view.

It is displayed in the Jira old view. We have also included it in the Issue layout but still not displayed in the new view.

We are using Jira Cloud. Is this a bug? Or are we missing some settings? Are there restricted types of custom fields that cannot be displayed in the new view?

Please help. Thank you.

Any ETA on when the "New View" might support display of this "Participants of an issue" custom-field type?  Or if ever?

Also appears to be the case that "Last Updater or Commentor" custom field type will not display on new issue screen.  Is it ALL read-only fields that cannot be displayed any longer?

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- ,

Is there a way for the "Participants" of subtasks to be automatic "Participants" of the parent?

You would have to find or write a script or automation to do this.
