How to turn off notifications in a project?

Hi, is is possible to turn off notifications in a specific project for some period?

I am planning to do many updates to many tasks within one specific project but don't want to inform all connected users about those changes.

Is there an option to turn off notifications and when I am done, turn them back on?

In addition to what @sanam malleswari suggested:

Create 2 notification schemes:

1. One active notification scheme with all (desired) notifications turned on
2. One "empty" notification scheme with all notification type recipients removed

Then simply switch from the active to the empty notification scheme to disable notifications and back from the empty to the active notification scheme to (re-)enable notifications.

you can turn off the notifications in a project by modifying the notification scheme of specific project.

there isn't a built-in feature to automatically turn off notifications for a specific project temporarily. However, you can manage notifications manually by adjusting the notification scheme and using some workarounds.

thank you for your answer - your solution with Dave suggestion for creating empty notification scheme will work for me.

But it will be nice feature to have simple on/off button.
