Hi team,
I mistakenly deleted project from Trash and it had huge lots of data which my company needs immediately. Can i get that project back somehow?
I am in a very difficult situation right now. Apprently it seems I don't have the back up as well for the deleted data.
Can something being done?
Hi @Vishal Gogari , the only means of recovery would be a full site restore from a previous backup. Of course you would loose any changes since that backup.
Hi Jack,
Thanks for the response but I connected with Atlassian team and they told back up is of 2020.
Isn't Atlassian team suppose to have latest backup of my isntance?

Its very difficult to digest that the backup Atlassian team has of my instance is of 2020 and 3 years back there are chances this project was not even there.

Below is the response i received from Ligia (Atlassian Support Team):
The last backup created in your instance was in 2020, so we don't have the data to restore the project. Sorry for the bad news.

indeed. You might consider instituting a regular backup script for future needs.

Regarding Atlassian, keeping a backup, no they do not keep backups of all your data. Even performing your own backup has limitations. You might consider a solution such as provided by Revyz as it is a more complete solution.

Should i assume there is no way to get my project back? I am okay to pay few cents if that's gonna help here.

Hi Jack,
Can i restore the project via email notifications? Please let me know.
Can atlassian help to get me all the email notifications recieved for this project.
I read somewhere that this is tedious option but the only way once project has been removed from Trash.

Hi @Vishal Gogari ,
I do not know if Atlassian can help with this. You would need to contact them. If you use a custom email rather than an Atlassian provided email AND the email is setup to retain all history AND all issues are created by email then you could potentially resubmit the emails by marking unread and drop into the inbox. Before attempting this I would turn off all notifications for the new project that you create.
