My team uses Jira Cloud. We seem to be getting the new bundled notifications sometimes, but not always. Can anyone tell me why? Attached is a picture of a string of messages that came within seconds of each other, each separately, all to the same person. (Look at the timestamps.) This behavior is what my team detests about Jira, and I'd like to assure them that it's getting better.

Hi Linda,
These new email bundles only apply for certain notifications. Some events are considered more important than others and notifications for these are sent right away. For example, when somebody assigns an issue to you, you will get a notification immediately, without Jira waiting for several events to happen so it can bundle them together.
This behavior is still being fine-tuned by our product managers at the moment so there isn't (yet) a definite list of what events trigger individual notifications.
Oh, OK. But the 4 changes in that sequence were 1) Adding a fix version, 2) Changing the value of one of our custom fields, 3) Changing the priority, and 4) Adding a label. Of those, I can kind of imagine that number 3 is something someone might want to see immediately, but surely all of the rest can wait 3-10 minutes? (And in our environment, the fix version can, too.)

Sorry -- I tried to add the screenshots yesterday, and I will try again. I didn't make the changes or receive the notifications. Here are screenshots that were forwarded to me. You can see the times on the emails. I don't know exactly what times the changes were made; Jira tells me only "2 days ago".
